Type 2 diabetes

Learn more about diabetes now. Maybe you have diabetes, a family member or a close friend. Diabetes is a disease in which the body doesn't produce or cannot use Insulin the right way.

Insulin is much needed hormone in the body who check the rate of sugar.

There are some types of diabetes. Five classes of diabetes are known, these are: Type I Diabetes, Type II Diabetes, Diabetes Insipidus and Bronze Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes.

Type I Diabetes: It's caused by failure of the pancreas to produce the Insulin. Type I diabetes is not common, it accounts for less than 10% of all cases.

Type 2 Diabetes: Accounting for more than 80% of all diabetic
people. It is found in adults and the elderly.

Gestational diabetes: This type of diabetes occurs when pregnent and disappears after delivery, within
2-3weeks.

An approximated 3% of all pregnancies are accompanied by gestational diabetes and nearly half of these patients are prone to developing permanent diabetes later in life.
